music / lots of news

dear family / friends,
I've been making lots of music for the past few months, hopefully leading up to a few different projects of epic proportions.  If you'd like to hear some of it, check it out in these locations:      http://www.myspace.com/catrabbitred

I'm also hopefully going to begin working on a short I wrote recently.  Should be bigtime.

News

Dear friends, family, fans, foes,
Good news to report at a time when I really needed some.  Both myself and my close friend Ryan Green have one Gold Keys in the Boston Globe scholastic art competition.  It's the highest prize you can receive and they only give out 150 of them to all of the artists who submitted work from MASS.  This is mildly exciting.  I'll be posting the images specific to my portfolio very soon.  Thanks for everyone who's helped me through this rough time and has helped me with my art over the years!

I'm still making them...

dear friends,
Meticulous editing, quite some time spent on sound mixing, color correction...*** I even did a narrative on this piece.  Please look at it and let me know what you think.

First short in months.

Dear adoring fans,
I grace you with a project I shot and edited last night.  A bit of a reflection piece on aging, nostalgia, and all sorts of things in that vein.  I hope you enjoy it.  Feel free to leave comments.

Cross processing is neat.

Dear all.

Xander and I ventured to Worcester yesterday to check out, unbeknownst to me at the time, my new favorite camera shop (it’s called LB Wheaton).  They process negatives (even cross process) for really cheap!  And then they’ll print your negatives for .75 cents a piece.  I’m not sure how much it would cost to get a big enlargement, but eitherway, those guys really nice and accomadating.

Check out my new pictures!

File0003 (Large)

File0004 (Large)

These four images are ones that I scanned in with Ryan later that day, so they aren’t scans of the prints that LB did.  The prints they gave me were a little bit more blueish green, and looked really cool.  I’m not sure if it was their machine or Ryan’s scanner that made them look different.  Regardless, both sets of images are pretty interesting looking.  I’ll have more up later if I can get some more images scanned!  Take care!

New Photos

Dear all,

Today I scanned some more negatives in from a roll I just picked up from the local Creative camera.  I still have many more pictures to scan, but I’ve been far to busy to scan them all.  So enjoy these two new ones for now, and more will be later.  Soon, I hope to bring my expired slide film to LB wheaton for some Cross processing fun!

Color Photos :)

Hey all,

Here are some color photos taken with my Holga from about a week ago.  I scanned them in over at Ryan’s house and toyed with them slightly in photoshop to give them a more of a saturated or “Cross-processed” feel.  Enjoy!

Low Quality and Medium Format!

Dear all!

I’ve just developed my first rolls of 120 film that I took with my Holga, medium format camera that I received in the mail yesterday.  I’ve only just begun working with my B&W film, and I haven’t got my prints for my color roll yet.  So far, this is all I’ve got, but I enjoy it.  It was for my school photography project: Text.

NYC part I

Dear fans!

Here are some pictures taken with my digital Rebel (thanks Chris) over the weekend while I was in NY.  Some of the pictures were taken by me, others by Shaun “filmall” Oppedisano.  If you want more information about the art show or the artist Tyler Lepore check out http://www.thejrnl.com

Well, expect more photos when Shaun sends me what he’s done with his medium format negatives, and even expect a 5–10 minute video that I shot documenting the art show and the after party.  Take care, and goodnight!

Switched over.

Dear everyone,
I've decided to make the switch over from the old defunct (in name but not spirit) Glammer-Time skateboard video website to a Blog site featuring the works of my short films, picture, music etc. and all those who are involved with me and wish to share their art as well.  Check out the "Stone Mt. Works" section for links to short films and perhaps some music soon.  Take care everyone.
